What We Do

We work as a single point of contact across the full equipment lifecycle:

  • Consulting And System Design
  • Factory-Trained Installation And Commissioning
  • Scheduled Preventive Maintenance
  • AC And DC Load Testing
  • Infrared Thermography
  • 24/7 Emergency Repair
  • Depot Repair
  • Decommissioning With EPA-Approved Battery Recycling

If you've inherited a mixed-vendor environment, that matters: you get one phone number instead of three, and the technician walking into your facility isn't waiting in an OEM ticket queue for authorization.

Who We Work With

Our backup power system services are for facilities that don't get to schedule downtime around vendor convenience:

  • Critical infrastructure managers running data centers, hospitals, and telecom hubs use us for preventive maintenance agreements and emergency response.
  • Industrial plant operators rely on us for UPS service, battery maintenance, and load testing on equipment that's often older than the OEM's current support window.
  • Government and military agencies use us for compliance-driven inspections, secure-site work, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Electrical engineers and contractors bring us in as the specialist partner for large-scale design, installation, and end-of-life decommissioning when the project scope exceeds that of a general electrical contractor.

Many of the OEMs we service have also retained us to perform their warranty work directly, which tells you something about the quality of the field engineering bench.

Make the Call Before You Need To

The worst time to vet a power protection partner is at 2 a.m. during an outage. We'll be happy to talk you through a maintenance agreement, schedule a load test, or provide a quote on equipment replacement. Call us at 800.727.4772 or request a quote online. Estimates are free, and emergency service is available 24 hours a day.

Frequently Asked Questions: Power Protection Services

Will Static Power service my UPS or DC plant if you didn't sell it to me?
Yes. We're an independent service organization, not a manufacturer's branch. Our field engineers are trained on equipment from a wide range of manufacturers. Where the equipment came from doesn't change what we can do with it.

How often should we be load-testing our UPS batteries versus doing a preventive maintenance visit?
These are two different things and shouldn't be confused. Most facilities benefit from twice-yearly PM visits, where a technician inspects connections, checks torque, runs thermal scans, verifies firmware, and tests individual battery impedance or conductance. Full discharge load testing is typically done annually for VRLA strings and is what tells you whether the battery bank will deliver rated runtime under real load. We can structure an agreement that handles both on a documented schedule, which also gives you the paper trail for compliance and insurance audits.

What happens when our equipment goes end-of-life with the original manufacturer?
This is one of the most common reasons clients call us. OEM support windows are getting shorter, and "no longer supported" doesn't mean "no longer functional." We stock spare parts kits and refurbished modules for legacy systems, and our depot repair facility can rebuild boards and assemblies that manufacturers no longer support. When repair stops making financial sense, we'll handle decommissioning, recycling, and replacement design as a single project rather than involving three separate vendors.

Can you handle a full turnkey installation, including disposal of the old system?
Yes. We regularly do turnkey work: site survey, engineering, equipment procurement, warehousing, pre-installation inspection, installation, commissioning, removal of legacy equipment, and EPA-compliant battery recycling. Battery disposal is included at no charge with most replacement projects we perform.
